Dealer - Asset Management Our client is a life insurance company specialising in cross-border insurance solutions for customers with complex investment needs. The Dealing team, part of the Asset department, ensures accurate and timely execution of client instructions, managing share transfers, corporate actions, key relationships, and asset monitoring. Teamwork and adaptability are essential to delivering top-tier service. The Role Involves: The accurate daily placement of trades, including the interpretation of client instructions, preparation of deals and system input of trades. Issuing share transfer premiums - Instructing settlement of assets, pricing of assets. Reflecting corporate actions on client policies - Stock splits, bonus issues, liquidations, cash dividends. Preparing reports for the team - Outstanding trades, new business premiums, dealing authorisations. Investigation and reconciliation of cash and unit differences. Liaising with brokers, counterparties and clients in relation to dealing queries. Maintaining flexibility within the department, assisting the team as work-load demands. Ensuring daily, weekly and monthly deadlines are met. Monitoring and reporting on trading activities across various markets. The skills and requirements we're looking for: Minimum grade 2.1 in level 8 Business or Finance discipline. 2 years previous experience with investments is essential - e.g. Fund administration, middle office trader etc. Computer literate with experience using the MS office suite, particularly MS Excel - Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc. High level of attention to detail. Demonstrable problem-solving skills - We require a candidate who can analyse objectively and find solutions. The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Good interpersonal skills - It is crucial in our team to have good communication. High levels of motivation, with the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
