Role Description
As the Head/Lead Personal Trainer, you will be responsible for leading our fitness team and ensuring the highest standards of service and professionalism on the gym floor. You will oversee staff training and development, manage daily operations, and take an active role in client training sessions. Key Responsibilities:
Staff Development:
* Implement ongoing training programs to upskill and educate gym staff.
* Conduct new staff inductions, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
Operational Management:
* Oversee daily and weekly staff scheduling and rostering to ensure optimal coverage.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and organization on the gym floor.
* Manage and support gym floor staff, providing guidance and mentorship.
* Foster a positive team culture and encourage collaboration among trainers.
* Lead with an open and approachable mindset.
Client Engagement:
* Deliver personal training sessions to clients, ensuring tailored programming.
* Develop and execute monthly programming to meet the diverse needs of clients.
Community Building:
* Plan and manage social events to engage members and create a sense of community within the gym.
Performance Monitoring:
* Assess and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and conducting regular performance reviews.
Qualifications
* Certification in Personal Training is a minimum.
* Degree or above would be an advantage in a relevant field.
* Nutrition cert would be a bonus.
