Care Worker/ Social Club Coordinator - Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal

We are recruiting for a Care Worker/ Social Club Coordinator for our Donegal day care @ home service and Ballyshannon Social Club, St Anne's Hall Ballyshannon F94 WK70.
This is a permanent contract working across the two services as follows:
1. Donegal Daycare @ Home - 8 hours per week
2. Ballyshannon Social Club - 4 hours per fortnight
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing person-centered care to people with dementia in the client's own home and to coordinate and facilitate the Alzheimer Social Club.
You will need good communication and organizational skills and be able to work on your own initiative.
To be successful in this position it is essential you possess previous experience of undertaking social and cognitive stimulation activities with people with dementia, older people or people with intellectual disabilities.
Full clean driving license and access to a car essential.
1-2 years' experience working in a similar role is essential. A FETAC level 5 qualification is desirable but not essential. Confidence in using IT/Email is also desirable.
