BDR with a Twist - Recruitment Consultant - Daily Rate Contracts
Are you a BDR / Business Development specialist now looking for something more interesting and consultative? Are you a hunter, prospecting and uncovering opportunities but feel you have more to offer? Why not take your skills to the lucrative space of daily rate contracting in the world of Recruitment?
The role involves a lot of outbound work to both client contacts in a position to hire daily rate contractors and then working calling Daily Rate contractors themselves to build out a book of available contractors, and learn from them what opportunities and clients are out there?
What will my day-to-day look like?
* Reporting to the Director for contracting, you will work to find new daily rate contract opportunities in our client base and new clients in Finance or technology
* Developing a pipeline of highly skilled daily rate contractors, building relationships with them and understanding their capabilities and requirements
* Work with marketing and client services team to target new business, contacts and existing clients that need the services of a daily rate contractor to plug holes in their businesses
* Using LinkedIn, Our Database of contacts, Internet E-zines and business segments for Discovery Phase to find potential new clients
* Canvass the contracting candidate market place to find new daily rate contractors (who are business developers themselves) and learn about the sites they have worked on to map the market
* Collaborate with the wider team to ensure we are all working as a collective to achieve companywide goals.
Sounds good, what do I need?
* Degree qualified with 2+ years' experience in Business Development role with a desire to move into consultative sales – this is more than just pitching a product – each sale is unique
* Experience in a structured approach to business development, market mapping, qualifying leads, understanding drivers and buyer behaviour etc.
* Proven ability to create and foster relationships
* Consultative mindset and ability to understand complex business requirements
* Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
The base salary for this role is between €28,000 - €33,000, depending on experience. However, commission is uncapped and there is an additional bonus/commission scheme in place when you reach or exceed your yearly target.
