Key Responsibilities
* Manage project budgets to ensure they align with allocated resources
* Oversee daily construction operations from start to finish, coordinating with subcontractors and vendors as needed
* Collaborate with clients to gather input on design elements and materials, making recommendations for project improvements
* Recruit and manage contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to complete projects on time and within budget
* Ensure compliance with building codes and ordinances throughout the construction process
* Estimate costs and manage project finances using software such as Excel or Access
* Coordinate with architects and engineers on design issues and problems
* Manage residential construction projects from start to finish, including scheduling and budgeting for materials and labor costs
Requirements
* 7+ years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in a project engineering, construction management, or project management role
* Experience managing projects within a main contracting environment
* Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field
* Strong track record of project completion, with previous experience dealing with design, budget, and scheduling issues
* Autorisation to work in Ireland
