Role: Site Manager Location: Waterford We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead and manage the construction of a large-scale healthcare facility.

Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, overseeing the construction of the healthcare facility from start to finish.
Ensure all activities on site are executed in line with project timelines, cost estimates, and quality standards.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to maintain a high standard of workmanship and efficiency.
Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, ensuring the site remains compliant and safe at all times.
Liaise with the project management team, contractors, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, issues, and risks.
Develop and manage site-specific work schedules, making adjustments as necessary to ensure all project milestones are met on time.
Address any site issues or challenges promptly, implementing solutions to avoid delays or disruptions.
Review project drawings, specifications, and plans to ensure the work is completed according to the correct standards and regulations.
Maintain excellent quality control throughout the construction process, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
Ensure that all site documentation, including health and safety records, daily reports, and progress updates, is maintained and accurate.
Oversee the sites budget, ensuring materials, labour, and equipment are used efficiently, and costs are kept within the approved limits.
Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, encouraging communication and teamwork among all site personnel.
Implement measures to minimise environmental impact and ensure sustainability throughout the project.
Provide leadership and mentoring to the on-site team, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and high standards.
What We Are Looking For A proven background in managing large-scale construction projects, ideally in the healthcare sector.
A relevant qualification in construction management or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years experience as a Site Manager with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, site management procedures, and quality control standards.
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team on-site.
Commercial awareness, with the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
