The QA Supervisor will oversee quality activities and employee development, driving continuous improvement in operations. This role involves projects for yield, process improvements, and implementing new systems.
This is a 4-day week position on an evening shift.
Working Hours : Monday to Wednesday (16:30-03:00), Thursday 16:30-02:00.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise employees and quality activities in production areas, resolving performance issues and conducting reviews.
* Oversee work order scheduling and team performance metrics.
* Ensure adequate staffing and training for all positions.
* Monitor productivity and quality metrics, reporting progress to management and stakeholders.
* Lead improvement projects and partner with engineering on investigations and corrective actions.
* Document product line inspection procedures and monitor labor variances.
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree (level 7) required.
* 4+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, quality, or product development engineering.
Additional Skills:
* Culturally sensitive leadership experience.
* Project management expertise.
* Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, including Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
* Experience in the medical device industry preferred.
