We are excited to recruit a Duty Manager to come and join our Management Team!
This is a fantastic opportunity for any new graduate or someone with a passion for hospitality to fast-track your career and gain exposure in a management capacity in one of Ireland's award-winning leading hotel groups.
Full training is provided for the successful candidate, and you will be working alongside some of our finest Senior Management Team.

What will your typical day look like?
You will be fully trained in overseeing the smooth running of all departments daily and liaising with all department heads regarding relevant details, i.e., customer service, training, Health & Safety, and maintenance.
As a Duty Manager, you will gain exposure in some of the following responsibilities:
* Carry out all management duties as per the agreed standards.
* Take control and responsibility for Management shifts.
* Oversee the smooth running of all departments.
* Manage all allocated functions & banquets in the hotel.
* Be responsible for all day-to-day queries, complaints, or problems that arise in the hotel.
* Ensure the highest level of customer care is practiced at all times.
* Assist with the training of employees where necessary.
* Be proactively involved with wedding enquiries while ensuring all relevant booking details are entered into the diary.
* Monitor the hotel functions book and familiarize yourself with all additions and changes.
* Liaise daily with the Deputy General Manager and Conference & Banqueting Manager to forecast Hotel business on a weekly basis and plan accordingly.
* Assist and carry out training as required and document the same.
* Coordinate with the Conference & Banqueting Manager regarding weekly banqueting business.
* Attend the weekly heads of department meetings.
* Ensure that reasonable care is taken for the Health and Safety of yourself, other employees, guests, and any other persons on the Hotel premises.
Qualifications / Experience required to do the job:
* Previous management experience is desirable but NOT necessary.
* Previous Conference and Banqueting/Food & Beverage experience is desirable.
* 3rd level qualification in a relevant field preferred.
* Excellent written and spoken levels of English.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
