The Role.
GMC Utilities Group is expanding! Due to continued growth, we are seeking Meter Readers to join our team nationwide.
Key Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Reading the meter with an electronic device
2. Recording the reading
3. Checking for any damage, unauthorized connections or defects in the meter
The Candidate: Required Experience and Competencies:
1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
2. Ability to be resourceful, hands-on, and work both independently and as part of a high-performing team.
3. Ability to take initiative and ownership.
4. Be proficient in Excel and Word.
5. Some flexibility to work outside normal working hours to meet deadlines.
