Your opportunity
Join New Relic as a Senior Solutions Consultant and leverage your unique mix of technical expertise, customer-facing skills, and business acumen to deliver meaningful outcomes for customers across the UK&I. In this highly rewarding role, you'll collaborate closely with customers, prospects, sales teams, partners, and cross-functional colleagues to showcase the transformative power of our industry-leading Intelligent Observability platform, supporting our Enterprise Account Execs by leading the technical discussions and evaluations. Your mission will be to educate and empower both customers and prospects to unlock the full potential of New Relic, helping them to eliminate disruptions in digital experiences.
What you'll do
* Supporting our Sales team with opportunity qualification, technical discovery and product demonstrations, Proof of Value/Concept presentations and workshops, RFX responses, and business justification in a pre-sales capacity.
* Build lasting and trusted relationships with customers and new prospects alike to help them evaluate and expand New Relic.
* Partnering closely with Sales, and leading the technical ‘win’ to identify revenue opportunities through upselling new solutions and driving wider adoption of New Relic’s products.
* Maintaining a deep understanding of the customer's business as well as their technical environment to support their observability strategy.
* Evangelising new product capabilities and providing customer feedback to New Relic product management and engineering groups.
This role requires
* Previous experience leading and managing large or complex pre-sales or consulting engagements with enterprise customers.
* Strong and varied technical expertise and a sales/customer centricity.
* Deep foundation of understanding that spans the various layers of enterprise technology from user-experience, applications, infrastructure, networks, data, security etc.
* Strong understanding of how insight and data better enables decision making in complex organisations.
Bonus points if you have
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent desirable.
* Previous experience of performance monitoring tools (infrastructure, application, web or mobile, network, user experience, CX).
* Exposure to and/or interest in cloud technologies: Kubernetes, containers, microservices, SRE, DevOps, CI/CD.
* Background in mobile device platforms & architectures (IOS & Android).
