Job Description:
The Senior Performance Test Engineer is responsible for building and implementing the performance strategy of the Products SaaS platform used by some of the world's largest companies to run their Social Recognition Program.
What we can offer you:
1. Design, develop, and execute performance/capacity tests.
2. Analyse performance results to identify bottlenecks and optimizations (e.g., new code bottlenecks, network, database queries, underlying hardware resourcing).
3. Generate workload models to replicate production loads and support production capacity planning.
4. Create and publish performance/capacity test results reports.
5. Develop tooling and support for the Development teams to enable self-service for performance test activities.
6. Work with Development teams to design and execute new Feature performance tests.
The skills you will bring:
1. Strong experience with HTTP load generation/measurement software (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, K6).
2. Strong experience in systems performance analysis and optimization in a containerized cloud environment.
3. Experience with performance monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, JMC, JMXremote, Fiddler).
4. Strong experience in database performance analysis and optimization of Oracle and Postgres systems.
5. Experience with continuous performance integration tools (e.g., Jenkins).
6. Excellent ability to partner with Architects, Developers, DevOps Engineers, and Database Administrators to collaboratively test and tune systems.
7. Strong experience with Cloud managed infrastructure and services.
8. A BS in Computer Science / Software Engineering or related field.
9. 5+ years' experience in performance and load testing.
