Job Role: Food Wholesale Business
Key Responsibilities:
1. To gain an understanding of product development, food innovation, seasonal activities, and store operations events & projects within a Food Wholesale Business.
2. To develop practical experience in key projects across sales, trading, operations, and marketing.
3. To enhance culinary skills, product development, and launch to market.
4. To develop customer relations, communication, organizational, reporting, and inter-personal skills.
Role Scope:
This role will engage and support different functions within the business, specifically:
1. Food Service Customer Support Demonstrations (in our Food Service Emporiums and on site at customers premises).
2. Customer Solutions Supplier Demonstrations Training Retail Customer Support Supporting our National and Key Account customers Innovation and menu development Group insight and innovation team support Trading Support- Supplier EPD and NPD Mitigate availability issues by introducing new suppliers- benchmarking Vs incumbent supplier Mitigate pricing issues by introducing new suppliers- benchmarking Vs incumbent supplier Supporting supplier NPD Trading Support- Quality Assurance Completing own brand QA checks with Trading Completing QA complaint checks Marketing & PR Recipes and solutions for Food Service Flyers SME, Retail and Foodservice Photo shoot content, from design, stylism to picture Branch Event planning and execution Food service event planning and execution
