Deer Park Accommodation in Howth, Dublin 13, is hiring a cleaner for its residents. Main Duties: To ensure that you present to work on time wearing the relevant uniform and name badge and to the highest possible standards of personal hygiene and appearance. To work in accordance with the weekly staff roster issued by the Accommodation Manager. To serve all residents in a satisfactory manner while maintaining confidentiality on all matters relating to residents and employees. To be responsible for the routine servicing of resident bedrooms and bathrooms both occupied and vacant as allocated.
To service other areas of accommodation i.e.
public areas, corridors, laundry etc.
to the required standards. To operate the tools and machinery with due care and attention, ensuring adherence to Health and Safety procedures and wearing the required uniform. To report and, where possible, act on incidents of accident, fire loss or damage and report any maintenance work required in the Accommodation or public areas in accordance with the set reporting system. Service Areas and trolleys to be kept clean neatly stocked and secure including storage and care of vacuum cleaner. Prepare extra beds and cots as required. To use provided cleaning materials as per manufacturers' instructions and as per training. To ensure that house policies regarding lost property are always complied with. To observe all safety rules and procedures, to ensure that all reasonable care is taken for the health and safety of yourself, other employees, residents and any other persons on the premises. To attend any meetings and training sessions when required to by the Accommodation Manager. To maintain at all times a good working relationship with your fellow workers and the Management team. To be flexible and available with regard to working the rostered hours and duties in order to handle any unexpected requirements and to meet the operational needs of the business. To be available and flexible to work early morning shifts, and to work on Saturdays. What we are looking for A passionate Cleaner with strong teamwork and communication skills that can deliver a work environment that supports employees to deliver a welcoming, clean and comfortable experience Proven experience as a Cleaner in the Irish hospitality environment of minimum 2 years. Enthusiastic about cleanliness, hygiene with a keen eye for detail.
