We seek an experienced Senior Building Quantity Surveyor to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of construction processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role involves providing cost management services, preparing estimates, and ensuring compliance with budgets and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
2. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential cost implications.
3. Monitor project progress and adjust forecasts as necessary to stay within budget.
4. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to meet project specifications.
5. Manage and mentor junior quantity surveyors, providing guidance and support.
6. Prepare and evaluate tender documents and contracts.
7. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
8. Liaise with clients and project teams to deliver successful outcomes.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
3. Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement methods.
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
