About the job:
The Financial Advisor will be responsible for advising families on building, preserving, and managing their wealth. The ideal candidate will use knowledge of investments, financial planning, credit, and banking to both advise current clients on all aspects of their balance sheet and generate new client acquisition. He will be part of a team based in Miami and supported by an institutional platform that has the resources, specialists, and intellectual capital to advise clients on achieving their desired goals.
Accountabilities & Areas of Responsibility
1. Manage and maintain relationships with clients by earning trust, thoroughly understanding client needs, providing targeted advice, developing thoughtful solutions, and delivering an exceptional client experience.
2. Generate business results and acquire new assets, both from existing client base and new client acquisition.
3. Advise clients on their overall balance sheet, including asset allocation, investment management, wealth planning, and insurance.
4. Partner with internal specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise to clients when needed.
5. Ensure that proposed solutions fulfill client’s needs and objectives in the short, medium, and long term through a holistic goals-based planning approach.
6. Strictly adhere to all risk and control policies, regulatory guidelines, and security measures.
7. Travel to the region to engage with clients and prospects, and ensure that all feedback forms are completed.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities
1. Six plus years of work experience in Private Banking or Financial Services developing business with ultra-high net worth and/or high net worth individuals and families in the Latin America Market.
2. Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA, CFA, or CFP preferred.
3. Series 65 or ability to obtain it within 3 months of employment - MANDATORY!
4. Proven sales success and strong business acumen.
5. Strong community presence with an established network.
6. Focuses on the client experience and works tirelessly on the client’s behalf.
7. Proactive, takes initiative, and uses critical thinking to solve problems.
8. Dynamic and credible professional who communicates with clarity and has exceptional presentation skills.
9. Demonstrates strong organizational skills and applies a disciplined and organized approach throughout their business.
10. Spanish fluency required.

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
