Description:
The primary role of the Client Relationship Manager is to manage a portfolio of clients and perform on-going oversight on their funds to ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and fiduciary requirements. This includes generating regular and exception-based reporting for each Fund Board to enable its Directors and the Management Company to fulfill their governance obligations.
Minimum Requirements:
1. 5+ years solid background in the fund industry (UCITS and AIFs)
2. Experience working in a technical capacity within a ManCo/AIFM, Administrator, depository, Audit firm, or financial services firm
3. Excellent PC skills including Word, Excel, and Access (VBA skills would be considered an advantage)
4. Experience in managing multiple clients is an advantage
5. Project management, planning, and organization skills
6. Fluency in English with a very high standard of written English
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain responsibility and contact point for the regulatory oversight of several Carne client funds, ensuring timely fund reporting and appropriate actions are initiated as required.
2. Act as the main point of contact for the client for day-to-day activities and resolution of any fund-related issues, including organizing regular service review calls.
3. Establish and maintain excellent relationships with fund delegates including investment managers, administrators, and depositaries.
4. Participate in the review process of the initial and ongoing Due Diligence of delegates to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
5. Ensure all funds have up-to-date policies and procedures reflecting ongoing regulatory developments.
6. Review KPIs from all delegates, including the administrator and Investment Manager, and participate in the monthly sign-off process.
7. Oversee the monitoring of the NAV process and review of fund financial reports.
8. Prepare reports for the Senior Management Committee and the Board of Directors of the Fund/Management Company.
9. Ensure Risk and Valuation work is undertaken on time and review and sign off is carried out.
10. Support the client onboarding process and generate exceptional and regular Board reporting.
11. Attend Board meetings and present Board reports, ensuring timely resolution of any actions raised.
12. Identify opportunities to enhance client relationships and host onsite visits.
13. Maintain and review all client data in Curator and any other relevant systems.
14. Prepare presentation materials for client visits and ensure active engagement across various teams.
15. Support the development of Carne’s proprietary system, Curator.
16. Review the Carne budget to ensure appropriate client billing and follow up on payments.
17. Assist with capital requirements supervision.
