Basic Grade Physiotherapist Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a basic grade physiotherapist to support children presenting with complex needs arising from a disability and their families.
About the Role
The physiotherapist will be a valuable member of the Children's Disability Network Team (CDNT), providing a quality evidence-based service in line with family-centred practice and Progressing Disability Services (PDS) principles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide physiotherapy services to children with complex needs
* Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver quality, family-centred, community-based services
* Develop and implement individualised care plans to meet the needs of children and their families
Requirements:
* Bachelor or masters degree in physiotherapy accredited by the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists
* Fully registered with CORU
* Proven post-qualification or clinical placement experience working with children with complex needs
* Excellent communication and time management skills
Desirable Criteria:
* Clinical experience of working with children with a variety of complex needs, including Autism, Intellectual Disability, and Physical Disability
* Experience of working within an interdisciplinary team framework
* Experience in supporting 24-hour postural management needs with a recognised seating/postural management course completed
