About the Company
One of Ireland's leading consultants, who specialise in design for clients in the commercial, education, healthcare, pharma, and transportation sectors, are currently looking to recruit a Senior Structural Design Engineer who specialises in conceptual design and project management for projects in the building sector. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-known Irish consultant who is expanding across their client base. This role is based in Dublin.
About the Position
Working closely with a team of specialised engineers and managing a team of Structural Engineers, you will be involved in civil and structural design projects that are related to commercial and industrial structures. You will have project management and client-facing experience and have the ability to represent the consultant at all relevant meetings.
Experience/Requirements
Within this role you will be involved in:
* Structural Design
* Structural Project Management
* Civil and Structural Design
* Tendering site investigation works
* Detailed design and consultant management
* Site visits on occasion to monitor programs
* Compiling project reports and delivering them to senior management
* Providing technical back-up and support to clients
* Stakeholder Management experience
For this role you are required to have:
* Degree in engineering (Civil/Structural)
* Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D design
* Conceptual understanding of complex structural design processes
* Commercial awareness
* LEED and BREEAM exposure
* Awareness of project financial performance
