We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior MuleSoft Developer to join our integration team. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, a strong background in designing and implementing APIs, as well as the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver scalable and robust integration solutions. The Senior MuleSoft Developer will play a key role in ensuring the successful integration of diverse systems, applications, and data sources across the enterprise.
* Understand the complete MuleSoft dev cycle including architecture, design, development, implementation and performance.
* Create, deploy, and manage APIs using MuleSoft’s API Manager. Ensure proper API versioning, security, monitoring, and documentation.
* Lead the design, development, and implementation of integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including APIs, services, and connectors.
* Integrate various on-premise and cloud-based applications and services to create seamless workflow.
* Customize and optimize MuleSoft configurations for maximum performance, scalability, and maintainability.
* Understand the Anypoint platform support tools including dashboards, monitoring, visualiser and support services both Salesforce and 3rd parties.
* Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and other developers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and resolution of integration issues, ensuring minimal downtime and operational impact.
* Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation, including API specifications, architecture diagrams, and integration flow designs.
* Advocate for the adoption of integration best practices, coding standards, and reusable components within the team.
* Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the MuleSoft ecosystem and the integration space, ensuring that the team benefits from new tools, features, and techniques.
KNOW WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Experience:
* Minimum of 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
* Experience with MuleSoft 4.x.
* Strong hands-on experience in developing APIs, connectors, and microservices using MuleSoft.
* Proven expertise in integrating cloud applications and on-premise systems.
Technical Skills:
* Strong understanding of RESTful API principles, SOAP, JSON, XML, and other web services protocols.
* Experience with Anypoint Studio, MuleSoft CloudHub, and API Gateway.
* Proficiency in Java, DataWeave, and other relevant programming languages.
* Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Maven).
* Experience with monitoring tools like Anypoint Monitoring and third-party solutions.
* Knowledge of security protocols such as OAuth 2.0, SSO, and JWT.
Certifications:
* MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 (MuleSoft 4) or equivalent.
* MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect or Integration Architect.
* Additional certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or other integration technologies are a plus.
Soft Skills:
* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an agile environment.
* Participation in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sign off approvals.
* Ability to support business case creation and execute on same.
* Retail knowledge preferable.
