Job Title: Design Manager
The Design Manager will support the team in enhancing our Design activities.
Responsibilities:
* Lead, manage, coach, mentor, train and support a team of Design Engineers/CAD Technicians to maximize their full potential.
* Implement training and coaching programmes to fulfill operational requirements in line with Company strategy, policies, procedures, and processes.
* Manage the recruitment, onboarding, performance management, retention, employee engagement and learning development of the Design team.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years Fire Sprinkler Design Experience.
* Experience using Revit.
* Experience with BIM (Building Information Modelling) workflows.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to prioritize work and manage challenging workload.
Desirable Criteria:
* LPCB - Basic, Intermediate and FHC Exams.
* Project Management Qualification.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Manage and Lead Design Engineers & CAD Technicians overseeing multiple design projects.
* Problem solving and resolution of coordination and design roadblocks.
* Management of drawing standards and specifications.
* Development and updating of Design SOP's, Manuals, Procedures for your Department in line with legislative, regulatory, Company and Client requirements.
* Schedule and plan for upcoming works and provide updates to relevant Departments.
