Perigon Construction Management Limited are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing site operations, ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. Perigon Construction Management Limited is a fast-emerging Design & Build company who works along with it's sister company, a multi-disciplinary architectural consultancy company who can take projects from the pre-planning stages, right the way through to the delivery of units all under the one roof. With several projects up and running, you will be responsiblefor the delivery of a 200+ unit project in Drogheda, Co. Louth Key Responsibilities as Project Manager Positively and actively drive towards an embedded HS&E culture taking an approach that creates a continually progressive culture driving our number one core value for Safety. Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project. Lead all aspects of Project Team functions (PEP, Risk & Commercial Success, Processes, HSEQS, Stakeholder Management, Project Administration, Design Management & Project Close Out) Prepare contract report and with the QS provide updates to monthly cost meetings. Review buildability and identify methods of construction with commercial or programme advantage where possible. Develop project plans and schedules and execute plans to achieve agreed outcomes Co-ordinate project activities in accordance with company Quality System, Standard Quality Procedures and Engineering Specifications. Meet agreed objectives in the areas of timely delivery, cost, quality and client satisfaction To be responsible for the successful delivery of project through leadership, management, technical & engineering expertise throughout the project life-cycle. Manage the day to day site operations of subcontractors on site Manage the work flow of sub-contractors ensuring they're in line with the program of works on site Quality management and BCAR co-ordination, overseeing quality control and safety matters on the site and ensuring that regulations are adhered to. Handle technical queries when necessary and interface with the client, consultant and architect in regard to RFIs. Qualifications/Experience: Degree in Engineering discipline, Civil. Structural or Construction Management. 5+ years Experience ideally within a main contractor Excellent organizational skills with an ability to achieve project deadlines Maintain positive relationship with the client and on-site construction team Track record in managing site teams and sub-contractors Strong awareness of commercial elements of projects Must have full awareness of Irish Building Regulations Full proficiency is Microsoft Project (desirable) Good knowledge of safety management and quality management. Ability to lead with confidence, mentor and motivates staff under them.
