2025 Internship Opportunity
We're seeking an intern to join our Dolby Vision Content creation team. You'll work on implementing a GUI tool in QT and C++ that interfaces with existing image processing libraries for HDR video playback, image viewing, comparison, and analysis on Windows and MacOS. This may involve implementing image processing algorithms or converting software that implements portions of the standard defined by the Academy Color Encoding System to Halide.
Requirements and Skills
To be considered, you must be working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Key skills include:
* Object-oriented software design expertise
* Proficiency in GIT version control
* Ability to learn quickly
* Strong communication skills
Preferred Skills
While not required, experience in the following areas is preferred:
* C++, C, or Java programming
* Graphics and image processing APIs, such as Halide, OpenGL, DirectX, Vulkan, Metal, or CUDA
* QT
* Functional programming tools like Halide, Erlang, JavaScript, Map Reduce, or Java streams
