Role Profile:
Reporting to the Project Manager and functionally to the Regional Sourcing Lead, you'll manage all sourcing activities for assigned work packages, ensuring timely procurement of materials and services.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
* Implement project sourcing strategies in collaboration with stakeholders (Project Management, Legal, Engineering, EHS, Quality).
* Manage work packages from initiation to closeout.
* Select and prequalify suppliers.
* Negotiate supply agreements.
* Align sourcing activities with project schedules and cost controls.
* Manage supplier invoices and change orders.
* Mitigate sourcing risks.
* Report on savings and project progress.
* Drive sustainable sourcing initiatives.
Experience you'll need:
* Engineering/Business qualification + 5+ years' experience in Capital Projects Sourcing (pharmaceutical preferred).
* Understanding of capital project agreements.
* ERP system (SAP, Agora) experience.
* Experience managing a portfolio of projects.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
What's on offer:
The client is willing to offer an initial 12-month contract, with a view to keeping the individual on for the remainder of the project as it progresses past this point.
This role is fully on-site 5 days per week near Cork, Ireland.
