Electrical Utilities Engineer
Reports to: Site Engineering Manager
Responsibilities:
* Support the Site Services Team in the turnover and commissioning of projects.
* Conduct walkdowns with the project team on behalf of the site and generate punch lists as required.
* Manage the punch list and oversee the closure of raised punches.
* Review documentation of various systems prior to turnover.
* Liaise with project system owners as required.
* Assist with the commissioning and support of system integration.
* Ensure safety and quality standards are met and that safe working practices are adhered to.
* Develop a project plan and qualification strategy in line with AbbVie requirements.
Project Activities may include, but are not limited to the following:
* Monitor and report on project plan progress, communicate any shortfalls, and identify solutions to address these shortfalls where needed.
* Organise and/or attend any necessary meetings required for progress gathering or plan alignment.
* Communicate with project stakeholders to ensure the required support is provided.

Requirements:
* Electrical Engineering Degree (desired, but not essential).
* Electrical Trade Qualified (QQI Level 6) – Advanced Craft Electrical Certificate or Electrical & Instrumentation Certificate.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering or a related discipline, with project management experience.
* Knowledge/understanding of site electrical infrastructure, substations, electrical distribution, PLCs, electrical drawings, P&IDs, IS.101010, etc.
* Comfortable using IT applications including MS Word, Excel, etc.
