Lavelle Partners LLP are looking for an Asset & Debt Recovery Legal Executive to join their busy and friendly team, based in Dublin 2.
Key responsibilities:
1. Managing a high-volume, fast-moving workload.
2. Taking instructions from clients.
3. Drafting motions and proceedings.
4. Service of proceedings Instructing summons servers and tracing agents.
5. Briefing counsel to include preparation of briefs.
6. Dealing with incoming telephone calls from agents, solicitors and defendants.
7. Dealing with incoming correspondence from agents, solicitors and defendants.
8. Liaising with clients over court outcome and next steps.
9. Liaising with court services.
10. Ensuring safe and efficient handling of confidential data.
11. Contributing to departmental monthly target.
Key skills and experience:
1. The ideal candidate should have one to three years of experience working in a law firm.
2. Debt experience is a significant advantage.
3. Calm, professional and approachable manner.
4. Excellent administration skills which demonstrate an eye for detail and an ability to organise, manage and prioritise work within a team.
5. Ability to work on own initiative as well as being a strong team player with a desire to learn.
6. Strong IT Skills including competency in Word, Excel, Outlook, experience of case management systems (Keyhouse is an advantage) and excellent numeracy skills.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
