We are presently recruiting for a Tax Manager for our clients in Tralee, County Kerry. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our organization’s financial strategy. This position involves overseeing and managing various aspects of tax compliance, planning, and reporting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, advise clients, and ensure adherence to relevant tax laws and regulations. This is a full-time position, based in office in Tralee, County Kerry.Responsibilities:Oversee the preparation and filing of complex tax returns for diverse clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Provide strategic tax planning advice to clients, identifying opportunities for optimization.Act as a key client liaison, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and communicating tax planning opportunities.Supervise and mentor junior tax professionals, coordinating workflow and providing technical guidance.Analyse financial statements for tax implications, integrating tax considerations into reporting and budgeting processes.Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, conducting in-depth research on complex tax issues.Collaborate with external auditors during tax-related audits, reviewing findings and implementing corrective actions.Identify and mitigate potential tax risks, implementing internal controls to ensure data accuracy.Utilize tax software and technology tools for efficient tax compliance and planning.Training and development of other team members.Maintain organized tax files and documentation, ensuring compliance with record keeping requirements.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree with relevant qualification along with Chartered Tax Advisor or similar qualification is essential.5 years of experience in tax accounting.Strong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles.Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
