Turndown Assistant
We are currently recruiting for a Turndown Assistant who will work within our Housekeeping Department. As a Turndown Assistant, you will be part of an intimate team focused on delivering cleaning and guest requests to a high standard. You will be responsible for the following duties and must be flexible to complete other tasks set out by the Executive Housekeeper and Duty Managers.
Duties:
1. You will be required to maintain our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas.
2. Check and clean toilets in public areas regularly, replenishing any tissues or toilet stocks as needed, wiping down the sinks, ensuring the floor is clean and dry, and bins are emptied.
3. Work as part of a team in a very busy working environment.
4. Provide each guest with the highest levels of housekeeping service in accordance with our 5-star expectations.
5. Provide a full service to vacated bedrooms and replenish stayover bedrooms in accordance with hotel standards.
6. Provide Turn Down Service to assigned rooms daily.
7. Be respectful when entering a guest's room, taking pride and being confident to complete the following tasks:
1. Check and clean bathrooms, replacing towels, tissues, and bathroom amenities where necessary.
2. Wipe down the bath, shower, sink, ensure the floor is clean, and bins are emptied.
3. Hang any clothes in the wardrobe or fold them neatly. Arrange any shoes.
4. Wash and polish any dirty glasses.
5. Replace water bottles and replenish Tea and Coffee facilities.
6. Restock Linen trolleys.
8. Understand all standards of performance and delivery within the housekeeping department.
9. Ensure cleaning checklists are adhered to.
10. Have strong knowledge of all areas of the hotel.
11. Abide by a flexible work schedule.
12. Provide support where necessary with regard to the various departments of the Hotel.
13. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

9. Excellent proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written, is essential.
