Our services include the assessment, design and implementation of solutions that enable organisations to improve programme execution, build confidence and increase the likelihood of successful outcomes and improved business performance.The opportunityIf you are looking to join a dynamic and diverse team providing Project and PMO Assurance Management to large-scale transformation programmes, come and talk to EY’s PRM team.Purpose-led Transformation: We, at EY, are using a proven approach to inform our client engagements.Collaborative teamwork: All members of the team are supported in their career development and progression.Delivering exceptional client service in a consistent and professional manner: EY’s Service Quality tools provide a process of continuous improvement.Your key responsibilitiesClient Responsibilities:Building valued relationships with external clients;Ensuring the consistent delivery of excellent work products by EY teams;Acting as a subject matter resource, leveraging your knowledge and experience to shape services for clients;Leading presentations and proposals for medium to high complex projects and provide subject matter insight to bids and proposals in relevant areas;Creating innovative commercial insights for clients, adapting methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs, and contributing to thought leadership.Responsible for benefits and quality management; stakeholder management; portfolio management; programme, project oversight; and risk and issue management.Integral to delivering these responsibilities will be financial management; maintaining risks, issues, assumptions, actions logs; resource forecasting; dependency management; and programme reporting.Provide and enable project prioritisation, management information, financial reporting, resource planning, decision making, and recruitment.Ensures Project Sponsors, managers, team etc adhere to the Company’s best practices for Project Management and Portfolio Governance in their delivery of diverse multi-disciplinary projects.Responsible for the ongoing support of Project Leads in their delivery of projects in line with schedule, scope, cost and resource requirements and constraints.Contributes to the ongoing development of the PMO process, tools and templates and Portfolio Governance process.Accountable for the IT Portfolio processes including IT planning, portfolio governance, project methodology framework, and resource capacity management.Ensure project management standards are being executed across the project portfolio.Drive improvements into the PMO program and ensure industry best practices are leveraged.Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle, and confer with project staff to outline work plan.Ensure that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives.Internal Responsibilities:Markets lead and Client liaison for PMO Excellence offering.Attending networking events both internal and external.Assisting in client account management activities such as recruitment for the team, managing financial aspects of client engagements, and Quality and Risk Management.Building valued relationships with clients and EY colleagues to assist in generating new business opportunities for EY.Leading and supporting presentations and proposals for elements of medium to high complex projects to prospective and existing clients.Understanding EY’s service offerings and actively identifying opportunities to better serve our clients.Supporting team development activities, including:Supporting, coaching, and mentoring activities;Conducting performance reviews and contributing to performance feedback;Contributing to people initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training activities;Understanding, following and communicating workplace policies and procedures.Skills and attributes for successApproximately 10+ years’ experience in a management consulting or similar advisory role in industry or the public sector;Approximately 15+ years of Project Management / PMO experience.To qualify for the role, you must haveExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills with a track record in managing complex stakeholder programmes;Good understanding of project governance and change management principles.Ideally, you will also haveAdditional professional qualifications, such as PRINCE2 or PMP, are desirable;Additional areas of interest include Project Assurance, Risk, Cyber and Data Privacy.
