Director of Software Development
Overview:
This role oversees the strategic direction and leadership for a large software development team.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic leadership for approximately 100 developers across five teams
2. Cultivate a high-performance, innovative culture
3. Provide career growth opportunities through mentoring and coaching
4. Drive productivity and engineering best practices
5. Coordinate with key stakeholders, including the CTO and executive leadership teams
Requirements:
* At least 15 years of experience in software development leadership, including as a manager-of-managers
* Experience working in a SaaS product company for B2B environments
* Deep knowledge of software development best practices and methodologies
* Able to build collaborative relationships with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization and across functions
* Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
* Experience working in highly regulated sectors (e.g., GxP, Pharmaceutical, MedTech)
