Summary:
A global pharmaceutical company based in Cork is looking for an E&I Engineer to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing electrical and instrumentation expertise to ongoing projects within the pharmaceutical facilities.
Responsibilities:
* Complete Issued for Design and Issued for Construction electrical block wiring diagrams, instrument loop drawings, schematics through AutoCAD.
* Complete and review As-Built versions of the above, ensuring compliance with actual field installations.
* Participate in the feasibility and planning of projects in conjunction with other discipline and project engineers.
* Act as the lead discipline engineer on a number of small to medium scale E&I capital projects.
* Act as the Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) on a number of projects in compliance with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013.
* Review sub-contractor MSRA prior to commencement of work.
* Authored Requirement Documents and Scopes of Work to outline full E&I requirements to external sub-contractors.
* Provide construction supervision of both resident site contractors and external vendors.
* Project planning/scheduling of a number of cross functional sub-contractors to ensure works are completed in a timely manner, in conjunction with client production windows and shutdowns.
* Develop punch lists of incomplete / deficient work.
* Attend factory acceptance tests to ensure that all vendor equipment complies with the user requirement specification documents.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering, with a focus on projects in the pharmaceutical industry.
* Experience in full project lifecycle, from Project Initiation, Planning, Execution and final Close-out.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
