Declan Garage Ltd is an independent garage specializing in full car service, new tyres, new brakes, exhaust repairs, new batteries, NCT checks, and secondhand tyres, timing belts, gearbox, and clutch replacement.
We are looking for a Qualified Mechanic/Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician to work in a busy environment in Wicklow town.
Requirements:
1. A responsible and diligent approach to their work with the ability to work on their own initiative.
2. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
3. Garage opens 8 am to 4:30 pm Mon to Fri - 7:50 am start to finish early is applied. Odd Saturday for a day in lieu during the week. Flexible on hours - early start to finish earlier.
4. Experience in vehicle diagnostic systems and capability to carry out timing belt replacement, clutch changes, and gearbox and engine work. Must have own tools and be capable of all mechanical duties.
5. Able to run the garage when the owner is off.
Terms:
1. Full-time and Part-Time roles available.
2. Immediate start; applicants must be currently in Ireland with full working status.
3. Full valid and current driver’s licence is essential.
4. Package is € depending on level of experience.
