JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a driven and ambitious Brand Ambassador to represent the diverse and premium portfolio of William Grant & Sons, including brands such as Hendrick’s Gin, Tullamore D.E.W., and more. This field-based role will focus on educating, advocating, and promoting our exceptional range of spirits in both retail and on-trade outlets across Ireland. As a Brand Ambassador, you will be responsible for showcasing each product's unique attributes, engaging consumers and trade professionals, building strong relationships, and driving visibility, distribution, and driving rate-of-sale.
You’ll be passionate about our portfolio, able to effectively communicate the stories behind each brand, and will embody the craftsmanship and innovation that William Grant & Sons is known for. This role is ideal for a spirit’s enthusiast with a deep knowledge of premium categories and a flair for creating dynamic, brand-immersive experiences. You’ll work closely with bartenders, distributors, media, influencers, and retail partners to champion our brands and develop long-lasting advocacy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Education:
Lead brand education initiatives across multiple categories (whisky, gin, rum, etc.), engaging trade, media, consumers, and influencers with our premium spirits portfolio.Advocacy:
Building relationships and managing yearlong path to advocacy programmes with Ireland’s best bartenders fully immersing them to become brand champions / advocates.
Trade Marketing:
Increase on- and off-trade visibility, distribution, and rate-of-sale (ROS) across the William Grant & Sons portfolio.
Proactively identify opportunities for improving brand presence and driving distribution & supporting lighthouse accounts
Plan, execute, and evaluate brand activations, tastings, and campaigns in line with the current brand portfolio strategy and budget
Communications:• Manage digital and social media platforms, creating engaging content and managing campaigns to elevate the full WG&S portfolioReporting:• Compile monthly marketing reports on activities, competitor activities, playbooks & advocacy campaigns.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Strong understanding of FMCG Industry (Alcohol Industry experience preferred) & bar landscape.
Must have full clean Driver's License.
3+ years brand ambassador experience or brand-related experience.
Shows strong initiative & drive and demonstrates an ability to work autonomously.
A savvy digital marketer and social media expert, with the ability to engage online audiences and influencers for multiple products.
Analytical, strategic & ability to problem-solve.
Strong communication & confident presenter with both public speaking and PowerPoint presentation skills.
Organized, with strong multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work in an ever changing, fast paced & demanding environment.
Experienced in Microsoft Office Packages, mainly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
