As we are expanding our team, we’re looking for Treasury Operations Manager to help us make a real difference in the Fintech industry. Ready to join us and shape the future of payments? Let’s make it happen!
About the role:
We are seeking a hands-on Treasury Operations Manager to join our Finance team at myPOS Ltd, a regulated e-money institution under the supervision of the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI).
This is a hybrid role, with a strong focus on treasury operations - including safeguarding, liquidity management, and scheme settlements - while also supporting key areas of the finance function, such as accounts payable, monthly accounts preparation, and variance review.
The successful candidate will report to the Group Head of Treasury and work closely with the reconciliation, compliance, and accounting teams. Early morning payment processing (circa 7:00 AM) is part of the role and will be offset by flexible working hours.
What you will do:
* Oversee daily scheme settlement flows, manage early morning payments (~7:00 AM), and ensure safeguarding compliance, with flexibility in working hours.
* Manage daily funding and liquidity across safeguarded and operational accounts, and monitor "own funds" in line with CBI guidance and internal policies.
* Administer online banking platforms, including user access controls, and perform regular bank reconciliations for both safeguarded and non-safeguarded accounts.
* Calculate and track bank charges and interest income, analyse and explain related variances, and prepare journal entries for treasury movements.
* Prepare daily, monthly, and quarterly cash flow forecasts and liquidity reports to support short- and long-term planning.
* Produce internal and external treasury management reports and support the preparation of monthly management accounts, especially treasury-related items.
* Coordinate with group treasury and outsourced teams to ensure smooth treasury operations and maintain alignment across functions.
* Ensure all treasury processes and controls are well-documented, tested, and consistently followed to support risk management and compliance.
* Support the year-end audit process, including preparation of treasury-related documentation, and assist in internal and external audit requests.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes, controls, and support timely accounts payable processing with proper oversight.
This role is perfect for you if you have:
* Qualified accountant or actively studying (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* At least 3 years’ experience in a treasury or finance function.
* Familiarity with safeguarding requirements in a regulated environment.
* Strong understanding of liquidity planning, banking operations, and cash management.
* Working knowledge of accounts payable and month-end accounting procedures.
* High level of Excel proficiency and comfort working with financial data.
* Strong analytical and organisational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Flexibility to start early on working days (around 7:00 AM).
* Experience in payments, fintech, or e-money institutions.
* Familiarity with SEPA (credit and instant), SWIFT, and card scheme settlement cycles.
* Exposure to ERP and accounting systems.
* Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, compliance, engineering).
