We are currently working with a leading Investment Management firm who are looking to hire a Portfolio Manager (Private Clients) to join their team in Dublin. The role will be responsible for establishing new business clients and managing the successful conversion of prospective leads to become clients of the firm.Role Duties Include:
1. Developing a trusted relationships with new and existing clients through both key existing stakeholders and your own network of HNW and UNHW contacts.
2. Generate high volumes of new business development/increase the company’s asset under management by seeking out and converting prospective leads to become clients of the firm.
3. Elevate and manage the firms sales/client acquisition strategy, covering all existing products and distribution channels, continuously improving the client ‘journey’ experience at every touchpoint. Understand clients’ financial objectives, tolerance for risk in a highly regulated environment and the complexities of enterprise sales.
4. Be available to travel to meet with new prospect clients, as appropriate, and work towards monthly and yearly targets, related to new client acquisition.
Requirements
5. Minimum 5 years’ of relevant client acquisition experience acquired preferably within financial services.
6. Strong networker with deep expertise in stakeholder management with proven track record in people leadership.
7. The ideal candidate should have an entrepreneurial mind-set: operate with the mind-set of the business owner, relentlessly and proactively executing the next opportunity.
8. Be qualified as a QFA and at a minimum satisfy the minimum competency criteria as set out in the Minimum Competency Code of the Central Bank of Ireland.
