Duties :
* Performs preventive maintenance tasks such as inspecting, replacing components on schedule.
* Testing and adjusting a variety of primarily mechanical equipment and systems.
* Responding to breakdowns, diagnosing and repairing, adjusting and calibrating a variety of mechanical systems.
* Overhauling, cleaning and/or replacement of defective parts.
* Providing engineering support to production.
* Operation, monitoring and maintaining various utility systems
* In the role of mechanical technician there are a variety of other, ad hoc responsibilities that may be assigned.
* Understanding that all tasks require a work order and depending on the complexity of task, a permit may also be required.
* Completion of work is documented under work order notifications with appropriate detail once the work is complete.
* Understanding that if during maintenance something outside of standard should be reported for further investigation.
* Managing site work orders on a CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management system)
* Manage and carry out on site instrument calibrations.
* Work to achieve the site services required Key Performance Indicators.
* Maintaining Site Documentation in Line with Client Requirements.
Qualification / Work Experience
* Trades Qualified Electrician with basic Mechanial Knowledge
* Experience working within a regulated environment i.e. Pharma
* Experience working within a Maintenance environment
* Ability to work on own initative
* Excellent communication skills
