We are currently seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Engineer / Insite Manager to join our client's team, a multinational organisation based in Kildare. This is a permanent, full-time position responsible for managing and optimising the supply chain network.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse and optimise the supply chain
* Plan and manage materials
* Purchase and follow up on materials, subcontract services, and goods
* Manage all relevant processes, including purchase orders, subcontract operations, sales orders, receipting, invoicing, stock adjustments, etc.
* Liaise with suppliers and visit their facilities as needed
* Collaborate with internal and external parties
* Process customer complaints
Requirements:
* At least 3 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in an engineering company
* A recognised qualification in a related field
* Experience in engineering or manufacturing environments is advantageous
* Strong negotiation, IT, analytical, and organisational skills
* Advanced Excel skills, including complex financial formulas
* Experience with material planning and contract management using an ERP system
