Job Title: Graduate Civil/Structural Engineer
We are working in partnership with a leading construction and civil engineering firm in Northern Ireland to recruit a Graduate Civil/Structural Engineer.

The company is renowned for its wide array of products and services within the construction sector, having garnered considerable success by participating in numerous prestigious projects throughout the UK and Ireland.
Their expertise lies in precast concrete solutions, civil engineering, and infrastructure development, with notable works including railways, tunnels, and road improvements across various sectors such as transportation, utilities, and commercial construction.
Your New Role
You will join their team in Magherafelt office, where you will be involved in designing structural precast concrete products with fibre reinforcement, acquiring new programming skills, streamlining and optimising calculations for improved designs, and collaborating with experienced engineers on research projects.
You will also participate in testing low carbon concrete alternatives in a factory environment, utilising advanced equipment to assess the properties of fresh and hardened concrete, documenting test data, and contributing to technical reports and meetings.
As a Graduate Engineer, you will continuously learn and apply knowledge to solve complex problems, with opportunities for growth and professional development.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, excellent computer skills, and proficiency in CAD software. You should also possess strong communication skills, the ability to prioritise work and manage several tasks concurrently, and a Full UK Driving licence.
