Senior Health & Safety Manager
What You'll Do:
* Implement the company's safety management system, driving a culture of best practice and continuous improvement across sites.
* Provide guidance and leadership to management and engage staff on safety systems and initiatives.
* Develop and implement Health and Safety strategies aligning with company goals.
* Manage delivery of specific programmes, projects, and initiatives.
* Support EHS team development, focusing on professional growth and technical competence.
* Drive improvement initiatives on company sites and with supply chain partners.
* Engage with external bodies, stakeholders, and peers for continuous improvement and innovation.
* Oversight and governance of annual audit programme.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leverage EHS systems and data for enhanced oversight of safety metrics and reporting.
* Own key reporting requirements to multiple stakeholders, including the Leadership Team and Board.
* Monitor and share guidance on Health and Safety related legislation, policy, and industry best practice and trends.
* Advise on potential risks associated with emerging legislation and recommend solutions.

Requirements:
* Minimum 7 years' experience in a Senior Safety Management or equivalent role.
* Bachelor's Degree or Diploma.
* Experience working in Construction, Utilities, or similar industry.
* Detailed knowledge of safety management systems to ISO 45001 (incl. implementation).
* Experience of implementing safety programmes across multiple sites and stakeholders.
* Experience of behavioural safety and change programmes.
* Strong knowledge of safety reporting and presenting to senior stakeholders.
* Ability to work as an independent self-starter and manage multiple tasks and projects.
* Ability to work effectively with colleagues from all levels of the organisation.
Desirable:
* Member of IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) preferred.
* Experience working within residential construction.
* Health and Safety Management, Engineering, or related degree is desirable.
