Phillips-Medisize is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Engineering Technician to work in our Metrology Lab. In this entry-level role, you will assist with the measuring and validation of plastic components used in the medical device industry.
Our Team
You will be part of a dynamic team with a broad range of knowledge and experience from the longstanding history of the Letterkenny site, its customer base, and medical device product range.
What You Will Do
1. Prepare and maintain accurate records of testing procedures, data, and results.
2. Support the introduction of new measurement technologies and practices into the company.
3. Assist in the design and development of measurement fixtures.
4. Collaborate with the engineering team to analyze data and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with lab equipment and systems.
6. Provide measurement assistance to the Production and Quality departments.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
1. National Certificate in Engineering, Technology, Metrology, or a related field.
2. Experience in a manufacturing environment.
3. Basic measuring techniques and equipment.
4. Knowledge of documentation systems and Microsoft Office.

1. Familiarity with medical device and pharmaceutical products and industries.
