Our client, an Irish-owned educational company, requires a Sales Representative to join their team to cover Sligo, Mayo, Roscommon, Westmeath, and parts of Galway.
Responsible for:
1. Calling to a designated area of schools to promote print and digital content to primary and post-primary teachers.
2. Knowing our full product portfolio in detail and identifying and forecasting all opportunities within this range.
3. Having a good awareness of competitor products to enable the business to track and analyze.
4. Working closely and reporting to your line manager, you will create an achievable territory action plan to reach sales targets.
5. Growing and maintaining customer relationships within assigned territory and being the face of the organization in your area.
6. Fully understanding our customer needs and providing feedback/identifying opportunities to the business.
7. Supporting national events including subject conferences.
8. Booklist data capture and analysis.
9. Ability to work with our internal systems e.g., CRM and MS Dynamics (training provided).
10. Playing a cross-functional role in the team working with all areas of the business to drive improvements and growth (Sales, Commissioning, Marketing, Customer Service, IT, and Logistics).
11. Adding to the positive can-do attitude of our existing sales team.
12. Bringing to the table a creative flair at sales meetings.
Qualifications/Experience:
1. Degree (or equivalent) in Education / Business / Sales / Marketing Related Discipline OR
2. 3-5 years’ experience in a similar Sales role.
3. Interest and passion for Irish Education.
4. Proven ability to work & influence cross-functionally.
5. Proven ability to work well independently with a track record of high-quality results.
6. Experience in budgetary management.
7. Proven track record in the administration side of sales.
8. Ability to engage audiences formally daily (Sales presentations/small group demos).
9. Relationship management skills.
10. Full clean and valid driving license.
11. Experience of solutions selling.
