Join Our Team and Make a Difference! Job Title: Instructor – Focus Programme 12 months Fixed Term Contract, 36 hours per week.
About the Role:As a Rehabilitation Training Instructor in the Focus Programme, you will help learners develop essential personal, social, and vocational skills, empowering them to make independent choices and progress toward greater independence.
This role involves working closely with learners who have experienced mental health challenges, supporting them in a structured, person-centred training environment.
Your work will be guided by the New Directions policy, focusing on individual choice and personal development.

What We're Looking For:Mental health and recovery model experience or qualifications are desired.Education: A third-level qualification in Education, Training, or Social Sciences, with additional training qualifications (e.g., Train the Trainer).Experience: Familiarity with working with individuals with mental health and other support needs, including delivering QQI-accredited modules.Skills: Experience in recovery-oriented practices, person-centred planning, and strong IT skills to support blended learning.Your Responsibilities:Develop and deliver training sessions tailored to each learner's needs, supporting them in creating personalized plans that reflect their goals and choices.Conduct one-on-one key working sessions to guide learners in planning their progress and setting future goals, using creative approaches like art, music, and assistive technology.Support learners in the classroom, remotely, and within the community to build confidence and independence in everyday tasks.Create and maintain accurate records of training and learner progress, producing reports that align with quality standards.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to continuously improve program quality and contribute to an inclusive, excellence-driven learning environment.Additional Requirements:Full Driving Licence and own means of transport.If applicable, candidates will need to provide a police certificate for any country they've lived in before moving to Ireland.

SalaryStarting at €33263.94 per annum, equivalent to €17.77 per hour.
