We are a small accountancy practice based in Dublin 9, committed to providing exceptional payroll and accounting services to our clients. We are currently looking for a Payroll Assistant with experience in accountancy practice to join our small, dynamic team and play a key role in managing payroll for a diverse client base.
The Role:
As a Payroll Assistant, you will:
* Process weekly and monthly payroll for multiple clients across various sectors.
* Ensure compliance with Irish payroll regulations, including PAYE, PRSI, and USC.
* Prepare and file P30 returns, annual payroll summaries, and other payroll-related submissions.
* Handle payroll queries and provide timely support to clients.
* Ensure accurate record-keeping and reconciliation of payroll data.
* Collaborate with the accounting team on administrative tasks and provide VAT-related assistance when required.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Minimum 2 years of payroll experience in a small to medium-sized accountancy practice in Ireland.
* Thorough knowledge of Irish payroll laws and regulations and their application in practice.
* Proficiency in payroll software such as Cloudpay, Payback, or similar platforms.
* Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
* A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
