The Health Intelligence Specialist is a business analyst accountable for driving complex analyses that bridge the gap between business problems and technology solutions (e.g., Clinical Intelligence Platform CLIP, Unified Site Profile USP, and more…).
This role mandates strong business acumen, curiosity, and steep learning agility.
As a member of Health Data Insights and Design organization, you will contribute to build industry leading data-driven insights, trend analysis, competition intelligence, and breakthrough analysis using cutting-edge technologies in a product-oriented organization.
Operating in a highly Agile setting, you will navigate through back/front-end applications in collaboration with the rest of the team.
About the RoleMajor accountabilities: Help perform data analysis, identifies business needs, defines requirements, documents processes and proceduresCollaborate with Health Data Insights, Transformative Design teams with a user and product-oriented mindsetGather and analyze large datasets, identify key analytical opportunities and models.
Transform raw data into impactful business insights, develop and optimize the data extraction, transformation, and reporting processContributes to algorithm development for precision targeting, testing, and implementing these algorithms in scalable methods.
Measure and optimize the quality of those algorithms over timeSupport work on cross-functional projects using advance modelling & analytics techniques, develop and maintain machine learning models and solutionsContribute to the overall user experience and design of new solutions and services and support super user training.Plans and contributes to the execution and testing of analytics applications, including validation/UAT of analytics solution, training materials and user guidesSupport optimizing protocol design, improved patient mapping and matching, site identification and selection ultimately improving trial recruitmentQuality and timeliness of deliverables producedAdherence to Novartis standards, in particular quality, ethical, health, safety and information security (ISEC) standardsWork Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology industry, or a Master's degree in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Epidemiology, Public Health or a related discipline3+ years of Industry experience in some of the following areas: predictive modelling, advanced analytics, market intelligence, strategic planning, clinical trial design or execution, feasibility or patient recruitment and business insightsPharma Data Knowledge (IQVIA, Symphony, Claims, Clinical Operations (CTMS) etc.)
preferredStrong programming experience in Excel, Python, R, BI platforms like Qlik Sense, othersPrevious work in patient data including clinical information systems, EMR, claims, etc.Strong familiarity with clinical data coding systems and/or computer-based clinical search tools and data analyticsGood interpersonal and communication skills.
