We are seeking a Human Resources Manager for our production plant in Dublin. The role will involve:
Key Responsibilities
* People management and HR planning to ensure the smooth operation of the business.
* Compliance with GDPR and other statutory requirements, including data protection.
* Effective communication with employees and group management to maintain a positive working environment.
* Training and development of employees to enhance their skills and performance.
* Handling conflicts, disputes, disciplinary action, and terminations in accordance with company policies.
* Supporting line managers with attendance, sickness, and absence related issues.
* Providing HR support to drive commercial development and achieve business objectives.
* Reporting on HR KPIs and supporting corporate HQ as required.
* Understanding HR-related P&L enablers and drivers to inform strategic decisions.
* Managing recruitment processes for all roles within the organization.
* Issuing contracts of employment and amendments as necessary.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a similar HR role and possess the following skills:
* Familiarity with Irish legislation and industrial relations.
* Ambition to work and develop their career.
* A strong work ethic and willingness to succeed and learn.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
* Ability to deal with people and address conflicts when required.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Knowledge of labour law, social insurance systems, employer obligations, and labour relations.
