You'll be field based, covering a territory and visiting customer sites on a daily basis
You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of this mechatronics biased testing equipment and instrumentation.
You will be working within a variety of appealing manufacturing sectors including the aerospace, automotive, and medical industries, amongst others.
You will play an important role in ensuring the equipment is correctly calibrated and always maintained to UKAS standards.
Fantastic training and progression opportunities
You should be calibrating systems within 3 months and INAB certified within 6 months
The field-based nature of the role will require nights away from home.The Candidate for the Field Service Engineer:
Familiar with electrical and mechanical engineering principles
Previous successful hires have come from an engineering discipline from the Armed Forces
Knowledge of Charpy, IZOD, Impact Testing, and ISO 148-1 is of distinct interest, as is an understanding of mechatronics
Able to calibrate equipment
Strong hydraulic knowledge in addition to electrical would be of significant interest
Strong IT skills and have good attention to detail
Hold a full valid driving licence and passport
Have right to work in the Republic of Ireland as sponsorship can't be provided.The Package for the Field Service Engineer:
€40,000 - €50,000 Basic Salary, D.O.E
Pay rise after probation and achieving personal INAB certification (~6 months)
€6.76 daily lunch allowance when in field
€17 meal allowance if away
Expensed company van or reimbursed business miles
Enhanced sick pay (75 days full pay)
On-going manufacturers training
Tools, mobile, laptop
