Senior Recruitment Consultant at Airport Staff
Our client, a world leader in catering to the aviation industry, is looking to hire a Warehouse Manager.
Leading the Planning & Supply Chain Department, including Pick & Pack, with overall financial, operational, and compliance accountability, including Ordering, Warehouse & Goods Receiving, IDS, Material Management, and Labour Forecasting & Planning.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the ordering of materials to run the business effectively and in line with the materials budget.
* Ensures close collaboration between Stores and the Warehouse so that stock levels are constantly monitored in line with Days on Hand data, minimum/maximum stock levels are adhered to, and targets and applicable business KPIs are met.
* Records and reviews material waste and deadstock and adjusts stock levels proactively and accordingly.
* Communicates with internal & external customers on irregularities and ensures GG Suppliers are performing to the expected high standards with the support of Procurement.
* Responsible for the overall operation, the employees, and the processes of the warehouse/inventory and packing areas and managing goods receiving; storing, picking & packing, and distribution of items internally to achieve short and long-term goals and KPIs.
* Planning and coordinating the flow of all materials from the warehouse and Food Stores to the production areas, so that all raw materials and equipment reach their destinations safely, on time, in the right quantity, and in the most cost-effective way, according to internal customers' expectations.
Education:
* Minimum Third Level qualification in purchasing, Logistics/Supply Chain, Business or other suitable qualifications/industry experience in Supply Chain Management is desirable.
Work Experience:
* At least 2-3 years working in a food hygiene/Health+Safety environment.
* Desirable specialization in logistics and/or supply chain management with 4+ years of Supply Chain and Logistics Management experience.
* Experience of at least 2-3 years in heading and mentoring a team.
* Previous purchasing experience of at least 3 years is essential. Management of customer and supplier relationships.
