Known for their professionalism, innovation, and commitment to excellence, they are now seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of a landmark hospital rebuild project in Longford.
Role Overview:
The Project Manager will take full responsibility for the successful execution of the hospital build through to completion. This is a high-profile healthcare project requiring strong leadership, exceptional organisational skills, and a proven ability to deliver complex builds on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the project team in the planning, execution, and delivery of the hospital build.
* Coordinate all phases of construction, including procurement, scheduling, health and safety, and quality assurance.
* Manage subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and efficient project delivery.
* Monitor progress against project timelines, budgets, and key milestones, implementing corrective actions as required.
* Liaise closely with clients, design teams, and stakeholders to ensure expectations are met and exceeded.
* Ensure full compliance with all relevant health & safety and building regulations, including BCAR and hospital-specific requirements.
* Maintain clear project documentation and reporting for senior management and stakeholders.
* Lead site meetings, oversee inspections, and resolve any issues that arise on-site.
Requirements:
* Minimum 8 years of construction experience, with at least 2 years in a Project Manager role.
* Proven experience managing large-scale healthcare, public sector, or similarly complex builds.
* Strong understanding of Irish building regulations, BCAR, and HSE standards.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Proficient in construction management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, etc.).
* Valid Safe Pass and other relevant certifications.
