About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at Indian Aagrah in Cork. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional food quality and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and timing for all dishes served to customers.
* Assist in managing kitchen stock levels, ensuring that ingredients are ordered and stored efficiently.
* Collaborate with the Head Chef and senior chefs during service to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
* Participate in maintaining kitchen health and hygiene procedures, adhering to strict guidelines and regulations.
* Cook food to order, using fresh ingredients and adhering to recipes and presentation guidelines.
* Supervise and mentor junior chefs within your designated section of the kitchen.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie in a busy kitchen environment.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team.
