Business Development Executive - Permanent
Our client is a medical device engineering company offering development and manufacturing services. They cater to the European and US medical device market.
Key Responsibilities:
* Win new business for our Irish and North American manufacturing plants.
* Research and identify target customers.
* Prospect, generate leads and create nurture campaigns.
* Qualify inbound inquiries and develop sales opportunities.
* Run end-to-end sales processes from initial contact to close of deal.
* Collaborate with production and engineering departments for deliverability, capacity, and costings.
* Maintain good data hygiene via our Sales CRM.
* Stay updated on new products and industry trends.
* Prepare quotations and follow-ups.
* Review Non-Disclosure Agreements.
* Deliver presentations and provide facility tours.
* Meet sales targets and KPIs.
* Travel to the US or Europe for 2 days monthly.
* Perform other duties assigned by your Manager.
Requirements:
* Degree in Business, Engineering, or similar discipline.
* Minimum 5 years sales experience preferably in manufacturing/production.
* This role focuses on hunting new business, not account management.
* Driven, determined, enthusiastic, and eager to succeed.
* Excellent active listening skills and confidence.
* Great communication skills with strong networking abilities, research skills, and opportunity identification.
* Strong customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
