Entegro are seeking an experienced Project Controller (Civils) in the Telecommunications industry who will enhance our existing project team. Reporting to the Civils Contract Manager and working from our Dublin office, this candidate will preferably (but not essential) have a background in the civils telecoms industry as you will be responsible for the management and integration of the design & build teams to deliver our FTTH Network Build projects. You must also ensure that correct project controls are implemented for efficient delivery of the Build project.
As a Project Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in our mission to build future-proof networks that empower our clients, businesses, and communities alike.
You will be a part of our dynamic team and the successful candidate will collaborate with our Civil Contract Manager to oversee our clients ‘Fibre to the Home’ projects. They will handle the project controls, and integration of their team involved in the project and offering appropriate advice to resolve issues as they arise. They will assist in monitoring and managing the project programme and cost plan, aiming to minimize the impact of any project variations.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
1. Programme works for civils gangs in the field, efficiently and effectively.
2. Develop and maintain effective working relationships ensuring collaborative engagements with key project stakeholders, and teams within Entegro and our client’s organisation.
3. Work with Operations teams / project manager to agree deliverable KPI’s expectation and ensure that resources are fully committed to by functional / operational managers that meet those forecast requirements.
4. Be key in the delivery of all TRR, subducting, Work Pack validation, acceptance against all civils elements, while managing, tracking and executing all data required for Local Authority Road Opening license T2,T3,T4,T5 (ROL), ensuring effective policing of sub-contractors to compliance to “purple book” specifications and timely processing via LA MRL system.
5. Plan, track and manage the project key deliverable(s), interdependencies and their respective KPI(s), ensuring delivery is on schedule, in alignment with project plans and to the OLTs /Area sequencing.
6. Ensure that any additional civils and related work, reroute design deviations requests and/or changes to projects are first and foremost managed through the appropriate channels, sign off authorisation in a structured and professional manner.
7. Work closely with Civils Contract Manager in the continuous tracking, control, and management of committed cost expenditure, sign off including supporting evidential criteria.
8. Work closely with the design and build team members to help strategize and continuously champion efficient scheduling and delivery of projects to reduce costs, increase performance and improve better ways of working.
9. Work with the Contract Civils Managers to decide / implement on the most suitable Team assigned to meet the project delivery requirements.
10. Be a key stakeholder within the project, continuously monitoring the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities & Threats of each project.
11. Produce overall Civils element delivery schedules / Plans against forecasts and their respective committed delivery milestones.
12. Work with Civils Contract Manager to ensure team is resourced adequately, and ancillary services are met in time to meet the project delivery.
13. Ensure all project plans are aligned with project costings and project KPIs are efficiently tracked and in line with S.M.A.R.T objectives.
Skills required
What You’ll Need:
1. 2+ years in a similar position with experience in civils works.
2. Previous experience of managing cross functional teams and subcontractors.
3. Experience in MRL & POV applications is desirable.
4. Strong attention to detail, coupled with accurate and timely reporting capabilities.
5. Flexible and adaptable to work challenges and open to learn and develop skills.
6. Ability to multi-task and work to a high standard.
7. A high standard of written and spoken English.
8. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team.
9. Proficient in Microsoft software (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.).
